I feel like there should be an option to somehow re-read your morning mail. It would be really helpful for people who are forgetful (like me), and seems to never remember when events are supposed to start. Another thing I was thinking about that could be really cool would be a Local Stardew Newspaper that comes out weekly or seasonally. It could have information about events and questlines could even start there, if more were ever added in. Also, maybe some insight into some of the townspeople. Like maybe Haley posts an add in the newspaper looking for her favorite meal or maybe she posts in the Stardew Singles Column. Just some ideas. Hopefully it's going into the right thread.
I like the mail and newspaper idea. I think the newspaper could also hint at what characters like so you can gift them what they love (Haley often says randomly something like 'If you want to get on my sisters good side, she likes the 'Aquamarine' and the mayor says 'Do you grow blueberries? I love fresh blueberries)
Yes! That's exactly what I was thinking. It would be such a nice way to bring the community of characters closer together. It feels more homey or something.
