Rating for Starbound?

I don't think you really understand what you just did.

 

It's always fun to see someone opinion. Especially if i disagree with it.

A great foundation for flame war or intelligent discussion. Lols.

 

I was going to say rated F for Fun, but everyone else got there first with the misunderstood "rating" thing.

He is probably from those people, who thinks devs shouldn't have even bothered implementing these things and spent their precious time on them. While I partly agree, it's not a reason to say the game is worse because of those features.

 

That's the great thing about a sandbox game like this one. Don't like a part of it? There's no need to use it, so you can simply avoid it.

 

Dissecting his opinion and interjecting yours isn't going to change his mind.

 

Well this thread went from pointless hype thread to arguments over what game features are necessary and not.

 

The game looks interesting from what I've seen so far. 5/10

I dislike a few things like:

- Apex
- Singing & Music
- Not enough blood & gore
- The GUI/HUD

If this game gets classified by the USK (Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body); it will probably approved for children aged 6 and above.

If rated from PEGI this game will probably come with an age recommendation of 12. (Non realistic looking violence towards human characters)

 

10/10 when i see more mechs.

 

Why is that a bad thing? If it's age friendly, more people will be able to buy it.

 

Because i love it when my screen turns red.

But I understand not everyone feels the same way.

 

It's funny to see people arguing that things that someone doesn't like are in fact things they should like or not that bad. Come on, this game can be great, but not everybody will love it as it won't be perfect for anyone. I like Apex, but I accept that someone don't.

BTW rating this game now is kinda silly imho.

 

No point in rating till we can play it. We've barely seen anything. This thread really doesn't make any sense.

 

The point of this thread I think is to get people to give either an objective rating of what we have seen or a subjective rating of how hyped they are about the game?

For me I can't really say especially when I never played the game, we only EXPECT things in the game so I don't know

 

I guess. I don't know, I still don't like the idea of this thread. I really can't give a rating until I play it. Am I hyped? Yeah. But will I rate the game? No. It doesn't make sense to me. That's all I'm going to say.

 

Honestly, this game is one of the best games I have ever seen. If it weren't for games such as "Big rigs: Over the road racing" and "Ride to hell: Retribution" I could safely say that starbound would be THE best game ever.
