Rating for Starbound?

The game is not out yet. However, from what we have seen so far, what is your rating for Starbound?

So, mine is 9/10. Yours?

I give it a 4/10 as the approximate percentage of the game I have seen is 50% and I dislike 10% of it. Seeing as that limits me to 5/10 or under, I give it 4/10, subtracting that 10 percent that I dislike.

I give it A+ for consistent visual style and music, no way I can check the gameplay in action atm so I'll leave that for later...

 

I'd give it a ?/10 because I have yet to play it I am so jelly you all got early copies. Also number ratings are bad written reviews are better.

On topic: Kinda hard to evaluate the game when actualy seen and announced features are messed up within my head with megabytes of suggestion threads on this forum.

Age rating will probably be "T - Alcohol References, Cartoon Violence, Animated Blood"
Or maybe "E10+ Alcohol References, Cartoon Violence."

I don't think that Steam greenlight games need age ratings at all so Starbound probably won't be rated until they decide to make physical copies to sell in stores.

I won't rate how good the game is until I've actually played it.
I think that it'll be at least 7/10 but I expect it to be better than that.

 

I've been around the gaming block so-to-speak; so now it's rare for me to really anticipate a new release...but it does still happen.
Starbound is one of those. The lineup of features shown so far is impressive, and that is an understatement.
I'm going to go with a very safe 9/10 M

 

And what do you dislike, eh ?

 

From what I've currently seen, maybe a 6.5/10.
But eh, there's no real way for me to judge it until I've played it with my own two hands.

-Singing
-Avian ship and building style
-And more.

 

7/10, the idea is there, but im still not sure if they REALLY can deliver that idea
into gameplay, just have to wait and see.

Honestly, I think this game will be a 9/10 at release. After they finish all the post-release content, an 11/10.

I think it will be rated Teen, at most. Likely will be Everyone or Everyone 10+, though. Chucklefish seems to have made the game very family friendly.

 

Insturements - For ABC system they are pretty good. I saw much worse examples.

Singing -Meh, i think Singing is fine and it's does not affect core gameplay, so who even cares ?

Avian ship and building style - Why you don't like tribal style ?

And more - That says a bit lesser than nothing. Fully determine what you do not like and then write.
