1. Welcome to the Art + Literature sections! Some things to keep in mind:
    • It's a good idea to specify whether or not you're looking for critique from your fellow members. Please don't let friendly criticism turn into an all-out flame war.
    • Art and literature often deal with mature subjects. This is fine, but please keep in mind that we'd like to keep things PG-13. Don't let discussions get out of hand, and if they do, please alert a moderator.

You Found This Thread, You get one now :D

Well, the name states it all, a random signature generator.
I have recently assigned this as my project while my other one is on hold, waiting for information.
What I have created is a code that will connect to a database and find a set username, then it will then randomly pick a message the user has written an print it out on a box.
    Simple? Yes.
    Customisable? Even More So!
This doesn't just print it out on a black box, with bland text! You can assign random (or specific) colours with 'Tags'.
Tags work in a similar way to the BBCode you have on forums, except they effect how your signature will turn out.
This can be shown with the [c] tag and the [r=RED,g=GREEN,b=BLUE] tags.
These tags will randomise the colour ([c]) or set a specific RGB colour ([r=RED,g=GREEN,b=BLUE] ). With these in pace, you can make a very colour signature, like below:
    (refresh to reload image)
These tag will also allow you to place different varying texts, like you current time with the [time] tag!
Here is an example, Australian time:
    [NEEDS NEW SYSTEM]
    (refresh to reload image)
Don't like the text look? That is a simple fix! Using the tags [png] or [gif], you can randomise pictures from the Internet!
typing one of these tags will mean the rest of the text will become a path to an image, as seen with this GaMERCaT demo:
    [NEEDS NEW SYSTEM]
Display your posts, likes and trophy points with ease with the tags [likes], [posts] and [points]!
Sounds hard to set up and use right? Well, your wrong! I have designed a website using JQuery and PHP to create a easy to use control panel for your signature that can even generate the forum code for you!

    Some Uses Could Be:
    - Display Your Favorite Quotes
    - Display Your Current Time
-Display Your Dragon Cave Dragon, with messages!
    - Get people to sign your signature, so you carry a peace of the forum with you!
I also plan to add the following features to the generator:
    - Transparent Backgrounds
    - Assignable Text Colour
    - Better Time System
    - Picture AND Text
    - Animated Cursor Blink
And That Is My Signature Randomiser, Check It Out For Yourself At:
Give Me Feedback upon the generator and this thread please...

    TUTORIAL OF TAGS IN SPOILER

[png] -- If this tag is found, the rest of the text from a URL to another image and that image is displayed.
    EXAMPLE: [png] http://playstarbound.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/chucklelogofinal.png
    RESULT:
[gif] -- If this tag is found, the rest of the text from a URL to another image and that image is displayed.
    EXAMPLE: [gif] http://www.thegamercat.com/images/links/linkbanner1.gif
    RESULT:

[c] – If this tag is located and nether [png] or [gif] tags where found, the background colour will be a random colour, ranging from RGB(0,0,0) to RGB(200,200,200)

[r=$r,g=$g,b=$b] -- If this tag is located and nether [png] or [gif] tags where found, the background colour will be a specific colour. To use this, replace the the $r,$g,$b values to the correct number accordingly.
EXAMPLE: [r=255,g=133,b=218] 'One Does Not Simply Hate Bacon'
    RESULT:
    Bacon.png

[date] – This tag will display the current date of the specified time zone. To specify the time zone, add the time variable at the end of the URL or use the BB generator.

[time] – This tag will display the current time of the specified time zone. To specify the time zone, add the time variable at the end of the URL or use the BB generator.

[24time] – This tag will display the current time in 24 hours of the specified time zone. To specify the time zone, add the time variable at the end of the URL or use the BB generator.

[likes] – If your account has been created with your Starbound Forum ID (SFID) (by default I have assigned them), this tag will display how many likes you have received.

[posts] – If your account has been created with your Starbound Forum ID (SFID) (by default I have assigned them), this tag will display how many posts you have created.

[points] – If your account has been created with your Starbound Forum ID (SFID) (by default I have assigned them), this tag will display how many trophy points you have earned.

    Side Notes:
-It is recommended that you type all tags in lower-case as an insurance that it will work.
-Tags can be placed anywhere in the page, it doesn't matter.
-Anything within the characters ‘[‘ and ‘]’ will be removed on load.
-This tutorial does not discuss the URL parameters that can be used.

    UPDATE:
    - Fixed A Database Error
    - Recreated The Entire System!
    Added:
    - Display Forum Likes Of A User
    - Display Forum Post Count Of A User
    - Display Forum Points Of A User

Cannot be bothered explaining, except I replaced a SQL system with a file system.

-!- ONLY ALLOWING 2 MORE FOR TESTING -!-

How parcular, I can see your signature fine, and my images... odd, there maybe something wrong with your Internet connection itself... odd

  8. I can see it, maybe it's something host related, sometimes it refuses connections, for some mad reason.

    Internet is funny business...

I have notice its being a tad slow in loading the images, maybe you have time out? I'll work on making the code faster tomorrow.

SIDE NOTE: My server (.netii) is quite a busy server I have notice, often getting the 'server busy' message at peak times, have to look into a more dedicated host, that's free.

ad blocker shouldn't be doing it as im using, but it was a good try though. I wonder if others are having the same issue, if they are I know its something wrong with my code.
Do they display as broken image links? If so, is it possible to still save it? If you can save it, can you email me the save file at lachee@lacheedomain.netii.net?

Oh, by the way, in BBC Code you make it (space),(space) like this:
    Code:
[spoiler=Show Website Preview , Hide Website Preview]
    Your pics
    [/spoiler]

    And you'll get this:
