So, did you see that Hylotl comedian in the outpost, that makes jokes, dependant on your race? I did, and here is the result... Glitch probably didn't enjoy the joke.
Ooh! I really like the bright red accent! Sorta reminds me of a TRON cyberman! I like it! Very glowy, just needs particle effects, and maybe a background scene. Very nice! Keep up the good work! Edit: I really like what you did with the fog! Really makes the atmosphere dystopian!
Thanks, it came out better then I expected, at least. (I also saw some of your work, pretty impressive.)
You can't really make a floran any more abominable than they already are. This is proof of that... Also, I really like it! The only thing at kind of irks me is those arms. And I can't really blame you if you are: A ) all of the above B ) not using a WACOM (or similar) C ) using gimp D ) doesnt use a scanner or take a picture and work over it or color and shade it(<- the method I use)
Hah, All of the above, I don't use the tablet, I use GIMP and I don't have a scanner, this is how this abomination was born. Edit: Mouse wasn't meant for drawing, anyway.
i don't have a scanner either! but there's an app for that you know! (seriously though, it actually works surprisingly well for an iPhone app! and before that, using the camera on a smart phone works reliably well. having a sketch as a translucent background layer can really help!)
Yeah, I will probably from now on just take a picture of a sketch and transfer it in the editing program , too bad I don't have an Iphone to use this app.
And here is one of my older drawings, re-created from scratch in the GIMP, I think the final result is pretty satisfying.
That's pretty cool! except for that face... those tentacles and the sideways eye is just giving me the creeps... great work though! keep it up!
I'm not sure if fish-people are supposed to be pretty, but I'm pretty sure that face ''tentacles'' are acceptable. Nontheless, thanks for the feedback! Edit: I didn't really think that they would end up looking like tentacles, it just seemed like a fishy thing to place on him.
I must say, for somebody using gimp that actually looks really cool. Though I must say, I had to sifle a laugh when I saw just how small that hand was for such a big sword. Sorry :/. (And if you read that wrong, get your mind out of the gutter! )
Yeah, I guess the hand came out pretty small indeed, although I somehow doubt that Glitch need muscle mass to wield something. (Plus most Glitch weaponary is oversized, anyway )
Who are you? You are the murderer, blood of the hundreds is on your hands... So yeah, a bit of a depressing truth about every player character in Starbound. Anyway, I had some real fun with this one, it's the first time I've drawn something from this perspective, so it's not so good.
There's a first time for everything. This was the first time you drew from his POV. So far, pretty cool for a first! Keep up the good work.
