I was thinking: why not put in some conditional stuff of how and why a planet still exists. Example: your on a planet solely existing out of plants and stuff, why not give it a some sort of deku tree that keeps the planet alive? Give a random quest to it as well like: you have the choice of either creating a protective barrier around the heart of the tree, or take it in order to learn more of it's secrets, or just kill it because you dont like fotosynthesis and plants. When u choose the last 2 options you kill the tree, and the planet will slowly crumble, this will activate an event that blocks out the ability to flee to your ship untill your back at the point you started. Another example: You are exploring the cloud planet, Cloudsdale, and you discover the cloud generator that keeps the atmosphere and clouds together. When destroyed, the planet will slowly turn into a wet wasteland of a spheric mass hanging in space. You monster, you just destoyed one of the most majestic planets of the Avians, don't expect any rainbows from them for a while because you ruined your diplomatic relationships with them. Last example: Your on the highly noteable floating grounds of the planet Skaia, where plateau's of land are connected by nanofibre bridges. In one of the mountains of the plateau's there is a facility that controls the eletromagnetic connector generator that keeps isle's floating, from its highly gravitational core where no living creature could be unless their crushed to itty bitty tiny bits. You press a random button, no cookies for you, you disabled the generator, the isle's are starting to rip free from its nanofibre shackles and start to roam around randomly in the air. Either to the core or into SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE. Opinions about this please, would be either fun or annoying to get this in the game. probably also moral issues
Yes, basicly more ways to ruin some homeworld planet, also if this actually gets into the game, it cannot be done by accident. The game gives you a choice to do so or not.
