I noticed something in the videos on Tiy's twitch. Oftentimes, when he fires a gun. he crouches before doing it. I wonder if this increases your accuracy or something or just looks cool. Just food for thought.

It would be nice to have some more gunplay mechanics, crouching might just be one :p nice observation

Depends. I don't know if guns have recoil or not, which is the only reason I can think to have crouching for accuracy. I think it just looks cool personally, so either way.

I wouldn't mind. It adds a tactical responsibility to combat; it also allows more portals for different gunplay.

I'm assuming bullets fired while running would be wildly inaccurate

It kind of annoyed me how even the lmgs in Terraria had 100% accuracy.

  8. Crouching seems to give us more "accuracy", BUT it can give more critical chance shots for example... :sarcasm:
If there's an Mechanic for "accuracy" that the projectiles wont go exactly for the same place if you shoot in same direction, crouching makes a lot of Sense!

    Hmm gun mechanics?

Crouching increasing accuracy and critical chances would be nice,
along with maybe having the cursor ACTUALLY ON the enemy rather behind him or in front
would make ranged combat more interesting.

    Also everyone would play melee.

  11. It was largely inaccurate honestly. But you're right, it's still accurate enough to hit an object 70% of the time.
