How would i go about with an automatic irrigation/watering system? I saw a video of something similar like my setup the only difference is that my blocks is not rewatered.

Upgrade your Foraging table to an Agricultural Station asap. Make Sprinklers; use them; never go back.

yeah. I encounter this problem my self, man.

if your planet rains, which it looks like it would, then only the plants on top will be watered. the bottom you'll have to water yourself.

edit: oh, and the ones on the side, too.

I recall a change some time ago where water beneath soil no longer counted for irrigating the soil. The water has to run over the top of the soil to irrigate, and it can't reach a certain depth or it will uproot most plants. It caused a bit of an uproar at the time, but most people just got creative with makeshift sprinkler systems via the wiring mechanics. But yes, we have actual sprinkler objects now, so you should definitely redesign and make use of those.
