Bug/Issue Radiation Affecting Character Upon Resuming Gameplay

I visited a radiation planet (jungle) and upon logging off there and back on, my health went straight to the point as though I were affected by Radiation. I have a Cooling EPP, so this should not be an issue, although I hypothesize that the reason this happens is that the game is taking planetary effects into consideration before looking at my resistance to them. This isn't something that necessarily should happen, and perhaps the devs can understand why better than I can explain it.

TL;DR, don't log off on Radiation planets.
