Now I am not advocating racial advantages, which is what we don't want in the game, but maybe if you were to sleep in the bed that corresponds to your race, you would heal a little quicker. Like if an avian slept in an Avian bed, healing speed would be quicker. Also I have noticed that healing speeds in beds are REALLY SLOW. Like painfully, I understand it is for balancing reasons, but if you sleep on your ship, you should at least heal faster, it takes up to a minute sometimes to heal all the way, and it's irritating to wait.
