To be fair, we don't know how long it will take to find other racial blueprints. I doubt that it will take too long for the other racial blueprints to start popping up because of the tier system. You might have to planet hop a handful of times to find your preferred racial lore stuff or vendor NPC (or however they choose to implement learning blueprints) but I don't think that they'd make at least the low-tier racial stuff hard to find, especially if the effect is minimal in impact to the game.

If I remember right, you could buy or get the blueprints from a quest.

The first thing you will want to do in each new tier will be to craft new armor and weapons to keep up with the new dangers. You won't want to take on new quests without better gear, and if you do you will be at a disadvantage until you finally obtain the new blueprints. Crafting this new gear will also require you to harvest resources to craft it, so basically you have to decide between going longer without upgrading your items or having to spend at least twice as many resources crafting more items in the same tier. On top of that, you need to find an NPC who can give you the quest or sell you the Blueprints you need, which might require some luck.

It's not incredibly difficult, but it's a lot more difficult than just using your own race's armor and weapons.

If previous tiers blueprints can be found on higher tier planets, then you can keep going forward and always fill-in anything you missed when you find a blueprint shop. For example, maybe you don't find any Avian villages until you find one on a level 27 planet. Now you can buy any Avian blueprints there that would have been available on level 1-20 planets, and do quests to get blueprints for level 21-30 planets or something like that. That way all the lower tier items are much easier to obtain from other races, but same-tier blueprints are still a bit more rare.

What if the Human Character is using Ammo Based Guns & using their Racial Armor to hold more Ammo at a time...? :p

The only other thing races get is individualized lore pertaining to them, but can be read by other races who find the in game books.

Ranged weapons of any type use energy. Kind of like Mass Effect's ammo system, minus the actual cartridges.

Yes. It's old news, actually. All ranged weapons will use the player's energy bar, even ones that fire rockets or bullets. Those weapons will still deal ballistic-type damage instead of energy-type damage, but they all use energy to fire. The reason is for balance and deeper combat.

Basically, jet packs, grappling hooks, and shields all use energy, and so do guns. This prevents you from abusing the range of guns while flying way above all your melee enemies, since splitting your energy reserves between multiple actions means you can't sustain the action for very long, leaving you vulnerable afterwards. Also, ammunition can be stockpiled so that you have so much ammo that you don't need to worry about ever running out during combat, while energy recharge times give your enemy an opportunity to counter attack. There have been several threads arguing about it, so you can read up on the issue there, but it's a little off-topic here.

Ah the more you know. Thanks for the info, sometimes when sorting through everything it's easy to miss things like this, especially if you feel you already know the info due to assuming.
