Quiet around here?

The main playstarbound.com page has not been updated in over a month and we have only had a few tweets and a livestream "which i missed" in the past month.

Not a complaint, just an observation.

That's actually a rather good sign in game development.

 

well the first public beta is in the works for eventual pre-orderers. so they must be busy beavers right now

So do you suppose they are devoting all their efforts to the game and sacrificing updates to the website whilst they put sme last minute polishing into the game?

 

It's only natural during this time of the year. It's been stated by the forum staff as well that people have been busy with real life matters and such. I believe things will pick up the pace soon.

instead of creating a new thread why not simply search for the exact same thread
someone else made and reply to it.

and the community as well as development seem to be a bit quiter lately, but we
can assosciate that with christmas and the fact that everyone is trying out thier new stuff.

It may change from forum to forum, but I do believe a topic is worth 'reviving' if someone would like to continue the conversation, has some input, etc.

On a similar note, I also don't mind a duplicate every once in a while. They're only bound to happen. I do remember that topics could be merged in a forum I was once a part of. Quite handy. Not sure how it works here, though.

 

Not quiet enough IMO.

Too much bitching and arguing about whether or not the game should be publically beta tested or not. I swear it's like the only thing half the people here ever even talk about.

tiy tweeted last night lets make 2013 starbounds year so hopefully that means they have there close to final assembly and the train can leave the station soon idk the specifics of where they are in dev though so i can only speculate

 

Sad but true. On the other hand the game would probably be legendary if they did.

I never said how long final assembly would take if you know anyone in the buisness of restoring old classic automobiles you may find that alot of things they say have dual meanings

To me soon is not today tommorrow next week but anytime months from now as long as its still 2013 the goal is met

Ideally im hoping for febuary because birthday but that may or maynot happen the fun thing about chuckle fish is they will neither confirn or deny theorys they just kinda throw teasers out to us occasionally and leave us to concoct our own beliefs on what the symbols and singns mean
