1) Mud could slow NPC\Player down, giving enemy some more edge. 1.2 Also some other\new enemy's could hide better in mud, be less noticeable. (Vehicles would ignore the mud) 1.3 Makes Player\Vehicles dirty (for some time or till washed\in water) 2) Quick Sand would be the worst place to go AFK as it would suck you in the longer you stand, slowed down NPC\Player and vehicles (unless hovercraft maybe). It would add more challenge, variation to planets\biomes and also could be a home for potentially new enemy types if necessary.
Great idea. I love the fact that it would make stuff dirty. Although that might also bring in cleaning/polishing whatever.
yeh, in the end it all depends on how far developers want\can actually go with the game. it could be simply "washed" by going over water, using a bucket of water or water hose\water gun or the dirty effect could wear off after..10 second ? or not be present at all. anyway thanks and cya around
That's a pretty cool idea. Maybe you could collect quicksand or mud and place it around your base to slow down approaching enemies!

PS. or I can\should add it to first post, if you dont mind. I think trough it should only be "used" on a planet what is the same biome (like Sand on Desert planet) as Quick Sand pits on Snow planet would be strange, and Dirt\water on Volcanic ones.
I too would like to see quiksand, when your just walking and all of a sudden you stop and begin to sink, that would be realy great.
