Quick questions:

On my starter planet I found, not one, not two, but THREE Nova Killer legendary swords. Every single one of them was so weak that they weren't worth using, dealing less damage than the random uncommon 'crappy swords' and 'crappy hammers' that I had been finding, even when the area of affect bonus ability was taken into account.

So I have a couple of questions:

Is this sword better at later levels at all?

and

Is it freakishly lucky to find the same legendary weapons three times in a row in surface chests? Or is reoccuring weapons in a plenet a feature of the game?

 

If by that you mean will it get more powerful as you level up, then no. If by that you mean finding the same sword on a higher level planet, then yes.
And yes it is somewhat rare to find the same legendary weapon three times on the same planet. But since the game is procedurally generated, a few people are bound to find it

English please, but regarding the post, the same duplicate of weapon can only be changed by the prefix or so I think, but the weapons are severely bad comparatively to rare or even uncommon weapons

 

I assume English isn't your primary language. other than that you do have a point. legendary weapons are pointless hell most weapons are since they haven't been properly balanced yet. since they decided to go a different route from what they originally went for of which was a armor/armor penetration system.

Indeed they are, while guns are harder to find (from mini-bosses at least).

 

Yeah it is pretty lucky. But since they're all nova swords it's luck wasted.

 

What good is an expensive axe, if it cannot chop trees? I say you ditch them; there is no use for a legendary sword if it is incompetent.
