Quick question raised by Construction Video

Hello all!

EXTREMELY looking forward to Starbound's release and plan on buying about 6 copies (if the price is $15 or less!) for friends and family members.

But as for the question, I noticed in the Construction Video that when Tiy "wires" the doors from the control panel and then "activates" the panel, the lever does not animate.

Will switches such as this animate in the final game? Anyone heard a confirmation or can anyone confirm it?

I also noticed this but don't think it's been talked about if it will be animated or not. But it'd be nice for those little things to be in-game.

 

I expect all that stuff will be fully animated in the final game. That video was made basically when the building tool was first created so they could show us what it could do so a lot of other things may be incomplete.

 

You've got to remember that the Building Demo (That's what I presume you mean with the construction video) was posted on the 30th of October. There has been a lot of development since then.
