Question if this hairstyle was removed (Nightly)

So I've gotten into the Nightly lately, and when I made my character I noticed there was a hairstyle missing that I love from the original game and was wondering if it'll be back in 1.0 or if it's just been removed.

 

Maybe they got copyright strikes from Goku and Cloud.

 

I doubt it.

I doubt the hairstyle itself is copyrighted, Saints Row had the option as well.



And of course many other games also have it. Unless you literally put a Goku (as in the character, not a costume) in your game then it is fair game. Even then you may reference DBZ like crazy as (in the US anyway) the idea of using something for a parody is fair game and protected.



Unrelated in this case but there is also Fair Use which is often used wrong as itself states that "For purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship or research." meaning if it doesn't fall under one of those things then it isn't protected under Fair Use. Basically all AMV that often claim to be Fair Use really aren't and can be removed at any time.

Kind of odd that they would remove a single haircut style. Maybe it is some sort of nightly bug? *shrugs*

 

There is one kind of similar but it doesn't have that awesome Cloud look to it! It's to short

They also removed one of the hairstyles that I used. The long ponytail for the male human. I guess they just decided to switch things up.

 

Guess so ; - ; It's not a huge deal but I loved the winterscarf and that shows your hair, guess i'll have find another hairstyle I like!

 

I'd also say that they possibly just thought that the hair style didn't reach their quality standarts? It does look a bit goofy to be honest.

 

If looking like cloud is goofy, I don't know whats what anymore...

 

It's more about the hairstyle's detail quality in this case.

 

I can actually see what you mean compared to the new ones and the ones they kept, I think you're right good sir and now that I think about it that hairstyle has been in the game since pretty much the beginning so no surpise, thanks for the input that really helped.
