Question: How do you copy Universe/Character info?

I have files on my external harddrive of my universe and my characters (Though, I won't be able to show the universe files like the sunken ship just yet because it's Windows 10 and I created it on Windows 7, I don't know if the universes are compatible.)

I wanted to know how to copy those files from my external harddrive to starbound so I can start playing my old character(s) again.

Edit: I managed to get my old save files onto this computer, but it seems to be loading from a back up as I used to have 500 hours of time put into Starbound, and now it says half of that. Any tips?

 

The save files are located in *\Starbound\storage. That's where you need to put the old files.
There should be no incompatibility, as you are keeping the general operating system the same.
