Question about mods

    Ok, So I wasn't sure if this should have gone into multiplayer or mods section because I have a question about both.

    If I am running mods, and I join a multiplayer server, then the mod won't be available but won't disable me joining the server right?
    If I am running a server and the server is using a mod, the clients are required to have that mod?

    If I am running a server on the same machine that I am running a singple player game... can I set it up so the single player game using mod X while the server does not?

    If I am playing single player and I have a mod such as... bigger storage... so I have a chest with 64 slots and I have it filled... what happens when I delete the mod? What about a mod that changes my ship and I delete the mod?

    Mods in multiplayer are funny right now. They will not be disabled if you join a server that does not use them, but only certain things will work and they will only affect you. (I'm pretty sure if a mod adds entirely new content that you will cause crashes for people that don't have it)

    I have no idea what happens when you host a server using mods that other people don't have, but I assume it works in a similar fashion.

    And no, you can not currently disable mods without fussing with the actual files. I assume that will be possible later.
