Question about glowing armor

I'm a beginning beginner newbie and everything you want at modding, and I'd like to know if and how this is possible : glowing armor.

It is possible but I don't think anyone started working on those at the moment.

And it would, in fact, be pretty easily achievable.

You just have to add the "Glow" statuseffect to the armor.

Can either of you maybe do a screenshot of where you changed the code of the armor to add the Glow effect?

 

Sure, let me actually code it and I'll put it here.
Didn't try it in-game, It's the Copper Chest by the way.
Copy and paste this in the
copperarmor.chest
in the
\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\assets\items\armors\other\copperarmordirectory. Open the said file with a text program.

Tell me if it works, if not I'll fix it.

 

In fact, there's another glow effect simply named "Glow". Probably used for the floating turning...things that give you effects when you activate them.

 

Yeah, I noticed that too, but I feel like the glow from the Yellow Stimpack is the kind of glow we're looking for here, we could do some testing. I'm currently mining to test the armor out.

And put it on the copper helmet

Of course, you can do it on any type of armor whatsoever.

 

Yes, but I will most likely code and design a new set of armor for every Tiers with different glowing levels.
