When you accomplish a quest, you get a trophy (Which isnt a item) based on the quest, for example, if it was a quest about killing someone you may get a body piece or a weapon. If it was a mining quest, a pickaxe, or an piece of the mineral. You can craft Trophy Frames, on which you can choose among your trophies, and they will be shown in the Frame. If you click the frame, it will show a brief text about what you did, for example: I killed (). Nice for decoration and showing off your brave actions.

I don't really like achievments or trophies in games, seems overly pointless to me. It's just a "feature list filler" for me.
They are trophies that you can use to decorate your house based on quests you accomplished. Mostly to decorate your house, and to show cool stuff you did to your friends ingame, not really anything that will change the game you play. They arent trophies for ´´Mining 15000 Stone``, unless theres a quest which actually tells you to do that.
There's already a ton of furniture and objects in the game and I don't think I would want to make trophies of quests I've done in the past. Maybe a "trophy" system for something else ? Ores for display from different planets or animal heads hanging on the walls ?
If theres quests on which you get asked to mine ores, you can take a trophy which ressembles that ore. If you get a quest to kill an animal, you can hang is head. Is the whole point of suggestion... You get the trophy for free when you accomplish the quest, is your decision wether to use it or not. All you have to craft are the Trophy Frames which could be made out of different materials (This would change texture and colour) including easy to achieve wood.
But you stated in the OP that those trophies are not items. I'm confused now. So do I get an item I can show off or not ?
You can make a trphy frame, from which you can choose the trophy you want to show. If you make a trophy frame, and choose an quest about an animal, you can see is head hanging on the frame.
Oh, really? I hadn't heard about it being on any other platforms...they mentioned possibly expanding to consoles down the road, but...
Yes. I think this was either on the Faq or on Blue List of Announced Information or on the features preview that they did since the first days, i dont remember, but i saw it.
