I have a pair of gauntlets and it says "press Q to initiate a duel" and "Finisher: Uppercut" pressing Q does nothing at all, i try it when fighting a monster, i try it before fighting a monster, it doesn't work. I assume that when you are in a duel you kill them with a finisher but its not very clear. Could someone explain this to me.
About the finisher thing, i forgot to add that, you need to make a succesful combo of 3 hits i think, and then a special attack will follow
This is just a wild stab in the dark, but wouldn't a duel take place between two people? Maybe try it with a sentient NPC, instead of a monster.
Nah I don't think so, I tried it against Florans Hunters in the Hunting Party mission and it didn't work, Or do they not count as npc's? I don't know
They're not player characters, so they would count as NPCs. You seem to be under the assumption that we know what you seem to know, but have taken the time to not reveal and instead criticize us for not revealing.

Sorry, well as far as I know Q just make you drop your current Item, i'm actually surprised that when you pressed it nothing happened, I think it's just a joke to make people drop the weapons
'Q' tosses the item. If you have multiple gauntlets, then you toss one of them to your opponent (a player character that can actually use it) and engage in a fist fight. Not an actual function, just an amusing description. As for the 'finisher' part, I'm not sure. It might be some kind of secondary attack that they're working on implementing.

Actually, this is a play on a mideival method of starting a duel- throwing a gauntlet down. Dropping the gauntlet in front of someone to challenge them.it is that simple...
i think the creators are just trolls. q makes you drop any wepon you are holding. so you just gave up a very legendary wepon to someone who you wanted to "duel"
