Pulse Jump Tech Singularity

I found a Pulse Jump Tech, neat, never seen that one before. Oh okay, it's a double jump, well at least it's handy unlike the morph ball I found pre-patch. Oh hey, another tech box, it's been hours since I found that other tech. What's in here- oh, it's another Pulse Jump Tech. That's funny, I guess. Oh, and a monkey training center thing on the same planet? That usually has a tech at the end of it. Let's dig our way to the end because the teslas lag like hell and jumping is impossible. Da na na naaa! It's a chest! You found: PULSE JUMP TECH! One time is happenstance, two times is coincidence, three times is enemy action. I think this is a bug, anyone else find nothing but Pulse Jump Techs?

tl;dr - Only finding Pulse Jump Tech. Anyone else or just me?

 

Had that happen before. I think planets should be limited to two techs maybe....wih each beeing unique

 

about 2-3 hours on a new character, no tech at all...miss the energy dash something awfully lot.

 

I have found 3 pulse jumps as well.

Could just go back to the original planet you found it on, I'm pretty certain the last patch did not alter worldgen, and the content of tech chests are part of worldgen.

 

Haven't played much of this patch, because of how broken it is, so I'm not sure if anything has changed but:
Before this patch I'm pretty sure I was on like my 9th or so Energy Dash in a row, after what I think was something like 'Pulse Jump > Energy Dash > Pulse Jump'
Wasn't until I saw a friend mention another Tech that I figured any existed beyond those two. Of course, still have yet to see any other sign that others exist!

 

Nope, I've found Energy Dash, Gravity, Butterfly, and morph ball.

 

I want a MorphBall if anyone knows a coord where they got one, that would be cool although the Loot in chests is random, for everyone, i got the Mech Tech in a chest that was said to have it maybe ill get lucky again! lol

 

I never thought about writing down coordinates, will maybe use someone else's when i feel like i really need it, not in a rush at the moment.

 

before the most recent patch, I found 2 pulse jump techs before I found a gravity bubble tech.

 

Since the 100->10 patch I found 5 techs. 3 of them on different planets/moons around the same star all 3 were energy dashes. 2 more around a different star, both were pulse jumps. Although possible, it's still hard to believe in this being just a coincidence.

Thing is, before that patch you could find two different techs around the same star, at least I did.

I'll go hunt some more to see if I can find a decent tech or if the trend of 1 type per star breaks for me.

Seems to hold pretty true. I've been dashing around to coords with techs registered on them testing it.
