PROPOSED FORUM TAB: COMMUNITY WEEKLY

We all have questions and we all want answers. my proposal is that we have a new forum tab where you can post questions and like other's questions to give them a point. at the end of each week, Chucklefish would take the top three decisive questions (omitting questions about due date and such) and quickly (or not if they have time) answer and explain each of them. the 4th and 5th highest rated questions would roll over to the next week without their likes. this would give us something large to look forward to once a week, and they would have a easier time finding and answering the more prominent questions of the community. in the weekly answering they could also make the header the random monster of the week. because Tiy usually tweets the random monster, he could add this to his weekly update! Finally, there would be a sub-tab that included all past answered questions.

 

Since a solid 80% of all information about the game comes from the IRC chat and NOT the official forums... This tab would go to waste. Just lurk on the irc till Tiy starts talking and ask things there. You have a better chance of having them answered.

Well this Forum uses a script limited to what it can do. It wasn't yet modded to allow in some forums question Mode, with best answers, etc... For a much better help for all the community!

For now they use what they can or they may use some extra-systems linked with the forum to make that work ^^

 

I think this is a great idea, but like Bacon said the forums aren't built to do this easily. That means it would be a manual process and a thread like that would quickly get bogged down and turn ugly. Again, I love the idea, but the forum doesn't have the tools to make it feasible.
