    I'm checking the roadmap and notice many of the core things for a beta are at 80-90 %.

    So.. I'm just asking what're we waiting for? Are we waiting for 100 % road progress for a beta? There's 2 months left until 2014. It's predicted that the full game will be released by 2013. Why am I not surprised if I'll see a delay?

    The beta will be out in 2013, the full release will be out in 2014.

    The roadmap is not a progress bar.

    There are over two and a half months left in 2014.

    It should be soon now, they wanted 3 tiers at least for beta, those 3 tiers are probably done, now they are working on NPCs/AI, probably vehicles and dungeon/villages.

    The game won't be released this year, the beta on the other hand will be.
    Roadmap isn't a very good way to track the progress of Starbound anymore, I would suggest sticking to daily updates for the most part.
