    I Think some of the characters dont suit their Lore, Like for instance the robo guy, (Glitch) he is an Engineer designing guns, but he has been downgraded into the medieval era, It doesnt suit a peasant designing guns, and the Hunter guy, isnt she a bird or something? So birds are generally passive, so i think runecrafting would fit her better, And the Humans, for farmers? Really? I mean, Humans are the 2nd most intelligent race in the default selection, so purely their role would be something more.. Official, like engineering, or a doctor. If the apex, the monkeys, are the MOST Intelligent race, far more complicated in TECHNOLOGY then the role of Engineer would suit him better, than the old Runecrafting.

    I like the suggestion you have given us and I am defiantly considering changes if they are fit, yours make plenty of sense so a big thank you. As this is beta of course :)

    On a note to all just a heads up my cold I had recently caught is on its last day now I feel a lot better and luckily went through the trouble already learning how to make this a lot more compatible. Pretty confident in say that within hours from now I will release a hotfix for compatibility on species, ore, plants, and weather. If anyone after this release spots any compatibility issues please feel free to report them as of here on out this mod will be crafted with that in mind. Thanks for some of your great reviews towards the mod, this really pushes motivation to keep it going strong so many thanks. One last thing for now I would like to say is after the compatibility patch will come a recipe and general ingredients for tier 1 patch. This will be the next content update before moving into creating content for the actual tables. Which will be the fun part!

    Anyhow thanks so much for keeping this mod strong and the reviews its been getting really make me happy to work on this project!

    p.s.
    I guess I have more to say then I know, well just a small heads up that we are establishing team members for pixel art, recipes, quest, and coders to contribute to the project. At this point in time I am setting up a work space for the team, then we can start releasing more content quicker!

    sorry about that, the forums have come down due to some changes the new website is in progress at the moment and will feature forums + much more also the new server is going to be announced soon as profession bound get more contents on the tables. At this point in time Im getting things as compatible as I can and we got a new team member who is working on fixing up many recipes that atm are wrong

    I have a question:

    Im sorry if someone asked it already or this is not the place.... but i cant seem to be able to get leather no matter what i do ...
    i get some scraps or light hide .... and i cant make a tanning rack or anything like that im at mk3 in sector B and im a robot

    I dont know what to do T.T

    Hope you can help me

    Try hunting the same way you get alien meat with a bow. Right now profession bound lacks different ways of collecting but leather should drop more frequently when harvested via bow. Soon we will have our own skinning knife and other stuff so then its possible a leather worker could have more effective ways to obtain it.

    Thank you so much for replying.... i did upgrade my bow to steel and i got some leather ... *Yes motion with the fist in the air*

    I have a question tho....what does light hide and leather scraps do?

    DO i have to be avian to use the tanning rack ?

    All is good as I told him in the review he pointed out to me that I should show who is granted permission and atm its just you, I can't tell everyone here they are 100% working as intended I need more reports on that and test runs myself however I did allow you to do it and I am working on making it work better together. Also for anyone wondering I also am working on a new website design at the moment while @FlyingAnonymoose is working on fixing up the recipes we currently have before we focus on the next content update for the mod. @Peelz is waiting for us to get some stuff going and things ready for him and he is going to be contributing as well all apart of the team. Can't forget my good buddy @flyinpancake who is working on making quest creation tools and recipe creation tools that he has granted us to use which was an early future goal we can now cross off the list. With tools like that not only is coding knowledge not so important, but even better is the speed of how much you can get done can be much more efficient. Anyhow I wanted to clarify that up for everyone who may be reading about this issue, it was just a misunderstanding I will do my best to make it clear for everyone in the future who is granted to combine this into a mod pack.

    @paintzer a wiki is not sure yet, we might have one. reason its in debate is due to our new website coming out that will be authored by a few of the devs on our team and possibly some article writers for it. More importantly the website will feature information as of who our team is, recipes, locations, item database for our mod, guides, and much more anything to help the player advance with the mod. I hope to release some more information perhaps a preview as well within the upcoming week.

    @Zephiroth sorry for my slow response but at the moment I was discouraged to let you know we have made the content in which many of the ingredients exist . For example the alchemist table does have some demo items setup but that's nearly what the goal is its just to set the tone sort of speak. So back to the leather and tanning rack you can learn it with any other starbound vanilla races however this feature isn't in at the moment just in place, you will soon be able to spend Pro Bound tokens to receive crafting rights for that table. So after we get some of the current recipes fixed and the mod stable we are going to go full blast with adding all kinds of items 1 table each update so more information will be posted on that not to long after the website information is posted :)

    When i checked, the file was there, so i re installed the mod and the same thing happened. This is the first time this has cropped up and I've had the mod installed for about 4 days with a few other mods that have not caused any trouble together. The mods are, Health dispensers, Pdaop machines, madtulip, modules in a box, spacebound and pgs.modpack

    p.s.
    I believe the update broke a few things :S Even our mod version title screen has disappeared, seems to be due to changes with the new patch I will keep everyone informed for a hotfix ;o

    EDIT 1:
    First round up of fix's is for the material ids, apparently starbound decided to make the maximum range for an id and my current ones used my mod link id # anyhow this was to help with any problems however this is not a big deal. It gives us the opportunity to take some the needed attention to label the ids properly. The error is consistency in just about every ore included in this mod, their is likely more errors but I will post back once I get this hunk done shouldn't take long.

    EDIT 2:
    Alrighty, I got a few errors stomped out of the way and its booting up a ok.. Anyhow wasn't as I expected. Anyhow I am just doing some more test to see if I encounter issues and this time not forgetting to update the version for the title screen :p.. Anyhow if everything goes smooth then a release will be out in less then two hours.

    heres the thing you are very well allowed to add it to your mod pack but I just cant support them all thats all infact I will change the permission so it makes more sense but I cannot get em to always work together is all I am really trying to say feel free to keep using it if you wish in your pack if it works good thats even better i say :p ill explain alot better on our own website soon to come

    OK and yeah i get it some mods aren't going to be compatible. Thats fine. I'm sure i can figure something out.

    Tried the mod not bad thing is the tokens are not showing up correctly in the place i only see "perfectly Generated Item" Or something like that
    i tried it with three mods Spawn Everything - Tabula Rasa - Garden Bot as well as the fully custom ship mod. I then tried it with out any mods what so ever completely removed all my player - ship - universe files still it did not show the items correctly i wonder what is wrong .. but for now i am giving this mod a 2/5

    1.Being the instructions given it does not seem very clear in some ways kind of confusing makes me wonder where about the instructions if they are still in a work in progress or is that it?
    2.The mod not working correctly for me being as i stated with a few mods active and without any mods what so ever still it was not working correctly.
    3. Killing flying npc monsters i only been getting raw poultry or harden armor plate.
    4.I put the mod into the correct folder i both times unzipped it into the mod and dragged it still the same results.


    Let me know whats up cause i even tried this on a friends computer well i had him try it and he stated the same issue
    Or your instructions are not really clear enough in the readme text file.. as there might be a need to move certain files into a folder?
    If so would of been nice if there was something in that readme that indicated it.

    I believe you guys should test your mod with other mods and post up what is is compatible with and what it is not.
    Naa i am not mad at all just wondering whats going on cause the tokens are not showing up either killed some npc's
    nada got just regular items i would get anywhere else.. the Chicken coop - wooden hoe -Chain Saw. I can not get those and any items that require
    tokens.

    This is odd, I gotta see I never heard of this happening yet. Could you give me your starbound.log file so I could see what errors you get? The instructions are a brand new, but I might just remove them all together for the response I am getting by even adding them so far. This mod is in beta at the moement I do mean thats because it might not be 100% stable yet, so It's better we get down to the error so I can resolve it for you. Killing every single flying creature gives you that stuff, also are you seeing the mod version on the title screen if so what version does it say their and what version did you download? you can extract the entire .zip to the mod folder you must drag the folder named "ProfessionBound". Tokens are not ready yet this has been stated before they are in early stages at the moment, soon their will be ways to get it once again this is another reason we are in beta alot of the core features are missing thank you for not reviewing this mod and giving me the proper time needed to help you resolve it. I hope we can work together to get it working for you,

    bullets are dropping off my head working hard to get everyone a website full of information that our team can help contribute to a whole new website version, a fun one !

    Sorry its taken just a bit longer then expected but I am making sure to do things in a whole new approach then the last website. Theirs still about two weeks worth of work left to get things feeling functional and cosmetic, however I have recently finished the style guide for the entire site this will speed the development along. Also need to make sure we get the team setup so they can edit sections and add new content related to the mod. Its decided that we wont open a wiki but will begin to create new content with information before its out like other games do it..

    If you are encounter problems using our mod please send the starbound log here for now soon on our website you can dump it in their and we will review them quicker then. For now to resolve issues for the next update please report anything you stumble by when using Profession Bound. I am very interested on getting a lot of feedback.
