I like the half-white half black blade thingy. I guess the stick is really just part of a recipe, but it will probably end up being the most powerful melee weapon in end game. Just cover it in gold and jewels!

Somehow the laser weapons, reminded me Phantasy Star.

 

top left looks like that red haired guys sword from bleach.

 

Me gusta. Not only does this look awesome, but now I have a sprite template to work with.

 

The blades look cool, but I'm not sure i like how the handle for all of them is the same simple wooden stick.

 

They need to be bigger.

Yup, that's what she said.

Honestly though I dunno.
Some of the weapons in Terraria just feel... weird.
Weightless swords 2x your height just feel odd in a game with no sense of weight/impact.

Anyway I really like those laser glaives/polearms.
Slice! ...could make for fun death animations.

 

Nice. It's not easy to make a sword look high tech, but these pull it off.
