problem with vault gates

    so I got a vault key from the caretaker and took it to an ancient gate and after using the vault key it displayed a destination list that said "???" and took me to the outpost. much like it used to back in pleased giraffe instead of doing what it's supposed to.
    the only mods I have installed come from the steam workshop and one graphical mod from the mod forum.
    I'm playing on windows 7 64 bit

    Was it a gate on the Lush planet, or a separate one in space?
