Hello everyone. I recently finished the game without any mods.

Now i want to start again with some mods i saw a guy playing.

My problem is: When i start a new game, i do the first quest to arrive in the outpost, and EVERYTHING is already unlocked there, all the npcs stores, stations are unlocked, all the npcs that JOIN the outpost doing the MAIN quest line are already there, and the portal to the ruins is already open.

Why is this happening??? None of the mods i installed are supposed to do this. I even deleted my first char that finished the game and created a new char and still got the same thing.

These are the following mods i have activated in steam workshop.

    XS Mechs
    Weapon Stats
    Improved Containers
    Xbawks Character Extender
    Frackin` Races
    Earth`s Finest - Crew improvements
    Frackin` Universe
    Frackin` Music
    Overwatch Mod
    The Tabula Rasa
    Efficient Watering
    Explorerpod
    Shadowed Atmospheres
    Avali Race Mod

That's a vanilla behavior you are seeing. Nothing to do with the mods.

Your characters all share the same universe. This includes the outpost. So you are essentially seeing the same outpost as your vanilla character did.

If you want to reset your universe, delete the content in "Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Starbound/storage/universe".

A brand new universe will be generated when starting the game next time.
Beware: this will delete all planets including structures you built on them, and will also mess up any navigation bookmarks. Good news is that your characters should remain mostly unaffected.

(Not to mention mods like FU that change the universe, need you to do this anyhow...)

I'm not 100% sure about this, but limited testing suggests that inside your universe folder you should find several files with the .clientcontext extension. One of those is likely the outpost file and other separate dungeons like the starting mission, Erchius facility, etc. Try removing those. Makes me wonder whether challenge rooms can repeat or not.

Oh, i was thinking that this was caused by the mods.

Well thanks everyone for the quick response I am going to delete the universe and start my new play playthrough.

    Problem solved!
