Server Help Problem Hosting Server

    With the new update me and my friends were all delighted and eager to get back into Starbound and play it again.
    However now we can neither host or join servers. I have forwarded 21025, allowed Starbound in my firewall and everything and so has one of my friends yet none of us can host or join others.

    We have tried Hamachi too, I might add, also to no avail. I would very much want some kind of help cause this is not what I wanted to experience when I came back to Starbound to play with my friends.

    I am also experiencing this issue, never had it before "Upbeat giraffe" stable build release. Please help.

    Have checked all my port forwarding, have checked all my firewall settings. Nothing seem to help.

    ***EDIT*** I must say, now it is working just fine... it took 2 hours but without any change my friends are now able to connect normally. I am very curious.

    I was however running my dedicated server trough a 64bit server file inside game directory, and it seem my friends started to be able to join after they launched the game using the same method rather than the launcher.

    I am still very confused but at least it now works.

    Really? I'll have to try it out when I have the time later on today! It would be amazing if it works.

    I've transferred from Hamachi to Evolve, which is the same thing, and played it without problems yesterday.

    Before Upbeat Giraffe - Update 2

    It seems as though it broke the server or something else related to multiplayer.

    he probably means something they changed with the update caused the issue. as to what? who knows doubt even chuckle fish have narrowed it down yet.

    It might not help you but this worked for me.
    I downloaded a freeware called "Simple Port Forwarding" and after a fairly simple setup I managed to get port 21025 open (even if sites on the internet still claimed it to be closed) and now I can host again! People can join and everything.
