Any time brah, btw is there any way you could make the ship lights wired ? If you don't have time I understand I'll try to fig out how to go about doing it. It's kind of lame that there are only a few lights you can wire in the game you would thing they would have made more, or setup the old ones to do so. None of the hanging lights that I've found can be wired. I only took a quick look at them so I did not look at all the ones in the game but if you can wire a dang torch an not a hanging light something wrong. Any how keep up the great works Brah I hope to see some more mod from you.

When will this be updated for the newest update?

With the newest version, my game is broken, and now I'm unable to play as my char that I spent 109 hours building up.

I'm not sure what's stopping you from playing you're old char but I can tell you that Ver. 3.1 works with the stable Ver. of the game. Unless they just put out a update in the last few hours of 05/18/2015. In fact Ver. 3.0 even works with just a few thinging missing sound and what not.

 

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I seem to be having some difficulty with the teleporters. I downloaded the latest version of this mod (3.1, the 'hotfix') because I wanted the simple teleporters that look like the ones on the ship. I crafted an "Ocean Teleporter," and placed it on the ground (on a planet, not in my ship) with no problems, but whenever I hit the "use" key my game closes. Is there a different mod I need to use to support mod teleporters? There's no error message on the crash, it's like I just hit alt-F4.

EDIT: I have no other mods installed so it's not a compatibility thing, and I am running the latest version of Starbound (Spirited Giraffe, updated May 8th)

 

The tele in the mod was made before the new teles where put into the game via the SG update and work for the ship to planet, not the new tele that came to be with the SG update. I'm sure when he puts up a new update he will rework a lot of things that are in the mod an maybe update the tele to work alongside the new ones that was added in the SG update. until then you could always do it yourself as its only a texture swap and a few lines of text to resize the textures to fit the file. And yes it is that easy as I did it so have faith in yourself Brah and gives it a shot worse thing and only risk you would be taking is that it would not work and you would need to try again

 

When I interact with the 3D printer I just magically teleport to my ship. what's up with that? Surely that's not working as intended?

Also since mod is called PACK and Print I'm sad to see you can't pick up containers while still retaining the items inside which would make it easy to move stuff around.

 

Just found this mod, so far I like it a lot. But, one small issue I'm having (ok, to me it's a biggie) I can't place the T.A.R.D.I.S.. Everytime I try, the game crashes. I put my log in spoilers because I can't seem to figure out any other way. Please help me get my blue box.

My knowledge of modding is very limited, my issue is I have (To my knowing) correctly installed the mod, but it never registers. I'm not sure if the version of Starbound I'm using is too new or what.

 

Print&Pack does worth with Pleased Giraffe V5. With other mods I'm not sure, but on its own it woks fine

It should be installed as such: Starbound/giraffe_storage/mods/Print & Pack 3.2/ Everything can be accessed from the skull crafting station which is made at the wooden crafting table. Hope you've managed to figure it out!

Hello all,
Mrmthood brought up something in a recent review about ship assets being unbreakable. This IS something I could add to my mod, so that if you don't like the original teleporter, sail console, ship locker you could completely remove them. I had never really thought of it as an issue before since the ships get such large upgrades in size I just had different themed rooms with doubled assets, but would like to know if this is something users would like to have added to the mod? Please let me know! I'm currently working on updating the mod so that storage is persisent in the chests and could easily throw in this function as well if its something people would like. Thanks!!
