Price?

I think prices that are <15$ people tend to think of as small purchases. Once you start going above that, people are a little more hesitant to part with their cash.

 

I will assume it will be within the range of 15$-30$

Of course...if it's on Steam, you can almost guarantee discounts eventually.

 

10-20$. People, stop saying you'd pay so much. The devs are going to price it high then.

I'd bet (not much ) that it will be $15. It's a bit of a sweet spot for indie games with extensive amounts of content.

This game will likely release with a fair bit more content than Terraria did, and hopefully a MUCH better online component. That would push it up to $14.99 IMO. As others have said, most indie games don't exceed $20.

That said, I'd be willing to pay a fair bit more than $15 for this, I'd drop $30 without even blinking.

Maybe they should release a Soundtrack edition at release that's $19.99 (With $7 or so for the soundtrack separately?). If they release the soundtrack, it better be FLAC! Lawl, it would probably end up exceeding the file size of the game itself, if the in-game music is lossy).

keep everything same price as Terraria and have Pre-orders with bonuses

 

I think that $10 (or 9.99) is good reasonably price, and since they have in mind cons and pros of terraria that wouldn't take too much time to them to finalize the game

 

I'd pay up to $40, if I had to. If it's like $10 to $20, I'll probably buy a few copies and share them with friends.

 

If I was so absolutely desperate for the game and it was $100, I'd get it.
Hell, it's not about what you would pay, but what is reasonable for an indie game.
And like how other people are saying, it's a gamble between $10 and $20.

i would pay about 40€ for this game without a second thought. but honestly, they will presumably earn more if they make it 15€ or less

 

More than 10$/Euro and I'm out. It is still a f indie game. If it will be more expensive I will just pirate it.

 

For all those people who say they want to pay $30 -$40 bucks for a game they have only seen a few screenshots and a brief summary of hoped for
gameplay..... I have some prime Martian real estate for sale at $100 an acre, I can send you photos and ground survey results if you want more information!

Seriously though, we all hope this game will be fantastic (otherwise we wouldnt be bothering to post here) but at this point we
haven't seen enough to know.

Assuming a game of Terraria like quality and gameplay, I expect the $10 -$15 dollar will be reasonable with hopefully a multipack discount.

there are games where you know they will be worth it. i know it when i see one of those games, and my intuition on this has never failed me yet.

 

I'd be happy with 15$ But I'd pay 25$ if I had too.

I don't think the size of the file will have anything to do with the price of the game.
