I'd say anywhere from $15 to $30 but I'm happy to pay whatever price they ask for.

$30 seems like a fair amount for the size of game we are supposed to be getting.

i think they will be 10-15$, they said they want the game to be affordable for all the peopple they can, and a higer pice will make less people buy it and ,more peopple to piracy (there is always piracy, soon or later it will be), i personaly want to buy the game, but dont have much money so i hope it is cheap

I shall buy this no matter what. It has more replayability already compared to regular, $60 games.

I'll buy it regardless but I will be extra critical of the game if it's $30/£25, I'll be looking out for anything out of place :3

Well, there is a crowd that is looking at this game that comes from Terraria, so I'd recommend a price range around the same as Terraria's.

If the game comes (Not on actual release, but eventually and 100% confirmed without changing their minds) with a full Mod API to actually make stuff like new planets biomes items etc, i would gladly pay 20-30$ for the game.

  14. The Enderman

    The Enderman Phantasmal Quasar

They said that will be accessible by everyone, so I'd say 15-20 dollars.

I'll pay around $10-20. If it goes up anymore, I could easily buy something else and just pirate it. Not saying I will, I want to buy this game because I support indie projects a lot that look like they have a lot of potential.

$30 for it? I'll just buy supplies for a week of Skyrim hibernation.

I guess its too early to see until we really have a scope on the amount of content, play time and features that have gone into the game.

From the looks of it now, I think $15 a pop would be a fair price...It looks like its going to be a pretty popular game like Terraria was and with the right marketing it could have a pretty high turnout in its first few days.

I think any higher than $15 and you would start to see a chunk of people losing interest due to the price against the style of the game putting them off, or not having the money. When you keep a game price low people see it as 'pocket change' and are more than willing to hand it over.

Indie games don't generally go above $20. I'm thinking it will be something like 14.99, but possibly as high as 19.99. I think once you start going above that point, people are more hesitant to spend their money.

15-25 That's my bet! And I would pay more to be honest ;)

Wew minecraft was 30 bucks, i just dont bought the game because of its price, i really enjoy it (pirating games FTW) but i will NEVER pay 30 bucks of DOLLAR in a game

:D<<< look at THIS one he looks like a potato that just smoked a joint man, i can imagine him saying: "Chill out dude..."

  20. Dynafols

    Dynafols Black Hole Surfer

Well, a lot of people bought the game before it was released, when it was still in alpha and beta, and minecraft's full release was even delayed for a while. But this is about Starbound, not minecraft.

But all the same, indie games should tend to stick around the 10$-15$ price range, you know, unless they are like WAY out there awsome.
