Pre-Order Beta Confirmed!

This is the best news I had in quite a while!

 

I am looking forward to this beta so much. Even if not much is unlocked I'm going to start cataloguing star co-ordinates and generally looking for worlds that are perpetually night or raining or otherwise just awesome

 

while the whole "getting bored of it" might sound like a thing.
i can only say that i usually have most fun with a game when its in the beta, due to the more distilled audience, the constant change and the more meaningfull discussions on the forums.

 

I think thats being abit paranoid.

Looking at the title of threads, it should be pretty easy to figure out which ones are going to have spoiler imagery or screenshots and if they don't belong in general, they'll get moved and anybody that has avatars or signatures that violate any rules they've set up about the beta will inevitably be taken down aswell.

Stupid people will be dealt with as usual and sensible people will be sensible. The occasional shot of a nice piece of equipment or weapon getting out before launch won't destroy the experience.

 

I know that I will be buying at least two copies as soon as they go up for preorder!

 

I like how people are afraid to touch the beta. Even though they have been waiting to get there paws on the download itself. Watching and seeing snapshots and videos, but rather wait 500 years as it may seem, for them to even play the beautiful luster colored firm friendly game it is.

 

I doubt the devs would make any rules about what you can post about the beta.
Like others have mentioned, there are gonna be way too many people for them to make an NDA.
But other than that, you're right.
Also, to be clear, I am just defending a point that Straw Hat made, I am definitely going to play the beta myself

 

I'm totally down for a beta. I just want to get my hands on this game sooner rather than later. Plus, with Terraria, I always got psyched when I knew there would be an update coming soon. No reason not to expect the same thing here! In summation, eff yes!

 

Exciting news! Hopefully this year is a great year, then, for Starbound!

 

That reminds me of Wanderlust's forums. They tried their best to prevent any spoilers concerning the game and stuff. Unfortunately, no matter how tight they were, it didn't work.

 

No such thing as a bug free game unless it is a game with no features.

Most of the games that you think of as "pretty much bug free" have far bigger budgets than this one does.

 

Ah this is pretty cool! Gonna be soon. I wonder if they can get it on steam or the pre order will be DRM. Either way this is good.

 

This news... it... it makes me feel... Fantastic! And I've never felt as good as how I do right now, except for maybe when I think of how I felt that day when I felt the way that I do right now! I'm so excited, I could just burst!

 

I hope there will be a preorder beta for those who will be buying in packs of multiple copies.

 

So, it's been pointed out that the dev's haven't really said much. What I want to know before I get excited is how likely this is? Considering a recent breach in security and everything, couldn't it be possible there was someone targeting something in particular?

Don't get me wrong, I would love a beta! I would buy a beta as soon as I saw the purchase option available. But what I want to know is: why does it seem that after 12 pages, only one official (to my knowledge) has posted without saying much of anything? (no offense)

If I missed something then please inform me.

But space station will be in the beta??
