Modding Help Post your starbound.log in the forum thread please.

I have been using the Creative Mode Mod but now that it's "updated" my game crashes every single time. When I told the Mod Creator that I had this problem, they asked me to "Post my starbound.log in the forum thread."

Great. I would love to do that. But that very simple, I don't really care about your problem kind of response leaves me with questions.

What is a Starbound.log and where can I find it?

And what forum thread am I supposed to post it too?

Also, is there someone that can explain stuff like they're not some super cool douchebag that doesn't have the time to use full sentences. I need a functional explanation not someone's attitude.

Hes not telling you that he doesnt care. @aMannus is a very supportive person. Rather than rant about it on here, simply asking him how would have sufficed. The .log file shows him what is erroring out. He is attempting to help you, so stop bitching. You are the only one with an "attitude".

Back to topic: its found inside the starbound root folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\starbound.log

 

aMannus obviously wants these posts in a specific spot, so rather than bother him with a PM like you're telling me, I'd rather do what HE suggested and post it on the forum he wants. Do you know what forum that is? Or do you want to keep wasting text on trying to fix my attitude?

 

On the Mod's discussion page. And acting like an asshole is not gonna get you any help from anyone. So I suggest you drop the whole attitude. I'm trying to help you, so you better not be getting an attitude with me either.

 

Telling you that you're wasting your own time is me helping you out. Don't call someone an asshole unless you're sure. This is the internet and I have the privilege of pre emptively deterring unhelpful people from responding to my questions by stating precisely what I want.
