Yes, they are all named Jenkins.

 

Yeah, I thought that was interestingly unusual.

It would be an interesting reversal of expectations. Most people would expect the florians to be peaceful but they're vicious and will actually eat other sentient races. I like those kind of twists on races and what we see in them at first glance.

 

I decided to make one for every race to try out everything


I tried to make the human look most like me but there wasn't a medium hair length or a non-jacket shirt. Also, you may notice that some of them don't have complete clothing and that's because I felt that it looked a lot better for them as a character without said article of clothing. It was a lot of fun playing around with the color schemes and hair/head styles!

If anything, I'm probably going to play as my Avian and the aquatic race (forgot the name but I know it begins with "Hy-").

A few things I noticed:

• (I understand that this is technically an unfinished product and that there may be more options later on.)
• The humans had the least amount of options to make them unique.
• The Florans had mostly feminine-looking hair leaves but I love the one I settled with.
• Whoever designed the robot race must have went to town because there are a LOT more options for the head mod.

With all that said, great job Chucklefish! This makes me even more excited for the game! :catface2:

should be a hairstyle available for lady characters as well, because, to be frank, it is a popular haircut among lesbians.

finally spent time building up my most likely 6 as the character creator currently stands*


one for each race, and none of these guarantee my playing as any single specific race.

*I retain the right to revise based on further editions of the character creator and am regardless not legally bound to play as any of these sprites.

 

Here are some of my creations.

The background I use is near the top right
corner of the apex image. I also used Paint.NET
to implement the background into the image.
