I got everything working, except for others connecting. Here's how it's set up on my Netgear WNR 2000v2 router:

    "Service Name: Starbound"
    "Service Type: TCP"
    "Starting Port 21025 (1~65534)"
    "Ending Port 21025 (1~65534)"
    "Server IP Address: [ ].[ ].[ ].[ 4]"

I was able to connect using 127.0.0.1 as my connection, but my friend cannot connect. It simply says he cannot connect to the server, and my server window doesn't even show him trying to connect. He tried just my IP, and my IP with : 21025 at the end, neither worked.

Might I have done something wrong in this process? The guide by Mollygos is so short that it seems impossible to mess up, but at the same time it doesn't explain a thing.

    the server IP address is?

You need to make sure that Server IP Address is the IP of the machine on your network.
Not 127.0.0.1 but the machines LAN IP not Your WAN IP
If you do not know it, type (Windows Key + R) When the Run dialogue box comes up, type "cmd" followed by enter.
Then when the Command window comes up type "ipconfig".
What is the output of "IPv4 Address"?

You do this on your server, just to clarify.

If you're on a linux server - > type "ip addr show" at a command prompt for your IP

Yep, I had the wrong IPv4 address. That fixed it, thanks!
