To be honest, i am not surprised. This site and the community is a bit uhh.. too nervous i guess. A lot has happened with the community and Chucklefish that would make anyone uneasy when approached with... pretty much anything. Sooner or later, the mood shall lighten, though. OP, you need to think bigger than just "ponies". What we should do is integrate real horse physics into the game. Real-time rendering on excessively bouncy manes and tails, and a four-legged control system that lets you really feel what it's like to be a pony.
