Holy crap! My grandpa used to study abroad at Russa in his youth (He is Chinese)! Ah the nostalgia.

 

I'm sorry but you cannot have an "official starbound website", only the Devs can make an official one or deem one the official. Also Tiy is very busy, if your serious about this then you want to contact a forum Admin about it not a game Dev.

 

Unfortunately, as Ghostar pointed out, an official status would require that the site be owned and controlled by the Starbound team. We would be represented by content on the website, thus bearing a responsibility that's difficult to fulfil, given that Russian is not a language native to any of the team. That's the most significant complication, though it's just the tip of the iceberg.

You've done an excellent job with the site - it's looking good. We're very happy to have you providing Russian language speakers with Starbound news, and a place to discuss it. Whether it's official or not, I'm sure the Russian community will find a good home there.

Is there not a way that you could use your browser to translate this site in to russian?

Like Google chrome does for me when a page is in a different language, it translates it in to English.

 

I can notice that machine translation is still a bit not perfect bloody horrible. It's not so distinctly in English I believe, but in Russian we have grammatical cases and coordination of words by numbers and genera (however less of verbal times). So translated text often becomes completely unreadable.

 

So how will you be able to translate the information in the first place? if you can not understand the English the site is already in and machine translation is not an option...

Aaah, got it now.
The russian site may be useful for our (mine and Ilana's) compatriots whom skills in English is even worse than mine (you'll wonder how much absolutely-English-mute people lives between Japan and Poland)
