[POLL]Mushroom Civilization!

So I was checking the forums like I always do at night and noticed a new dev tweet:

To me it looks like their making a mushroom civilization, I think they look awesome, what do you think.

This looks really cool. Keep adding a variety of people to slaughter and civilizations to dismantle into oblivion and then use as decoration in a base somewhere.

I really want to play as mushroom people. Really badly. They probably won't be playable though qwq

If they're not playable as standard someone will mod them in as playable. guaranteed

That's not the same as making them official races with backstory and personalities though.

 

That's something you'll have to deal with, besides moders can make a lore for them

 

No that's not something I >Have< to deal with - They are either official or they are not. I personally don't want to play with them if they don't belong in the universe. It isn't just about lore either - They need architecture that suits the style. This is most likely beyond most modders anyway to bother with.

 

Florans are carnivorous plants, and now mushroom people can be photosynthetic (while real fungi are not).

 

Having seen the types of mods I've seen for the Elder Scrolls games and other moddable games, someone will definitely take up this challenge. It may not come immediately, but it'll probably come eventually.

 

They could be a floran variety. I think it would be great to have like sub-races

I get what you mean and I feel the same way. I don't really know why lol.
