Keysmashes are also effective. I don't like the randomly generated names.

I would put my own name in to the game.

It's not often people get a chance to be officially represented in games, so why not leave something of yourself rather than a random name?

 

@Namiwakiru - That thought crossed my mind, but I thought it might be cool to try to use a concept that is important to me and others, namely to "overcome bad things by doing good things". It's a bit of a stretch, haha, but I thought I'd give it a shot and see if some other people could come up with a good way to implement it, or perhaps choose a good way from the poll i threw up there :-D

Depends pretty much on what you are thinking about your NPC... I have some awkward "awesome" suggestions

If Human then do:

If its a doctor name him The.

If its a medic name him Imamed Ick

If he is an assasin liking big knifes name him Mr.Mundy

If he is a psychopath shooting rockets on the ground very next to him while jumping name him Jane Doe

If its a female character (Human)... No idea choose female variants of the previous names.

If misc then do:

If its a female Gardevoir (which got modded into the game somehow) then either name her Gwen (Creepy noodle name) or keep the stock name.

If he is extremly powerfull, mighty and leading a somewhat powerfull corporation name him ___MeRliN___

If its a cephalopodic alien and you got "swag" or how you call it nowadays name the character Alpha

And lastly if its a guy stomping mushroom people very often... Name him Mario Super


If Floran then do:

Any floran names should refer to flowers like "Lily Deathblossom" for instance (höhöhö bad name)

For other species I dont know so far, need to think about that...


And if you want yourself somehow in the game (which I could buy)

Name him like yourself <.<

 

Lol giving him your name in a subliminal way (did that too not)
