RP Pocket Watch (Chapter 5: Latin Love)

He eats the sandwich anyway.

 

"I'm not sure, but I certainly did not expect to fight off a demon today." Drake follows as well. This makes no sense.

 

"Oh me too, believe me, name's Flynn by the way, you two?" Flynn says while still jogging.

 

"Call me Drake. Well met, Flynn."

 

Flynn speeds up, turns his back away from Drake and extends his hand, "nice to meet you pal!"

 

Drake reaches out and shakes Flynn's hand.

 

Flynn smiles, before turning to Sandra, "so how about you?"

 

Sandra whips her hair while she runs. "My names Sandra, Outlaw to a lot of the Trifarious-Tech scums." She begins to huff. "We should hear a gigantic explosion soon. Prepare your ears." She warns the two. The white tiger follows far behind them.

Jamison looks to Dogan and smiles a quite cruel smile. "Wait, there will be a time and place but it is not now." Jamison tells him.

Kotoka was frowning through his mask. He wondered why things went down so quickly. Maybe putting a hole in the wall would be a good thing. "OK fine, we can take the sadistic bastard and the dummy with us." He then started to make his way out of the alley.

There was a reason why Kotoka and Jamison so easily decided to become partners, but that... was a story for another time...

 

"An explosion? I'm intrigued."

 

Mmmmmm taste like a sandwich with a hint of gravel, it was rather appetizing after your one thousand year nap!

"That's good!" She yelled. She then looked back at Flynn. "So about back there, about you drastically changing the size of your weapon. What was that?" She asked.

 

"I've got Polycythemia Vera, and excess of red blood cells! Like the opposite of anemia, it allows me to use more blood than most people and make bigger weapons!" He shouts back as he covers his ears, readying for the big boom.

 

Drake does the same as Flynn. This is about to get real.

 

It was time....


*BABOOM*

The people screamed. Sirens began to blare. A few bodies hurdled to the ground from atop of the walls, they fell lifelessly to the ground with a thud. There bodies then turned into watches. The people gathered around the newly formed hole in the wall were astonished. There was now a newly formed hole in the wall. Rubble made it hard to walk in that area.

Back with Kotoka the explosion was heard. The cameras near then started to flash red and blare a loud annoying noise. They must have sirens... (Obviously)
"We've breached the wall, we can finally escape!" Kotoka said with relief.

A little bit after the wall had broken it was as if all the air was suctioned out and replaced with fine clean air. Some rebels felt a great weight was lifted and decided to take off their masks, they were greeted with clean and wonderful air. There heads were clearing, they were free from the poison. Some people even began running out the hole. They ran fast and far, it was apparent that Kotoka and Sandra wanted to do the same.

Sandra looked at Flynn and Drake. She stopped. They were about 200 feet away, some rubble was still in the air. "Do you guys want to wait around for the others, or make a run for it?" Sandra asked.

 

Drake removes his mask. "I say we make a break for it. The longer we stay here, the more likely it is that we get caught."

 

Sandra shakes her head. She then takes her mask off. "How about you Flynn?"

 

"As much of the 'survival of the fittest' type I am, I'd rather wait to make sure as many allies are safe as possible," he says, catching his breath.

 

"Would you mind waiting around then Drake?" She asked nicely.

 

Drake puts his hand on his watch. "With your permission, Sandra, I'll escort as many of these civvies as I can out of this city."

 

"What should i do n-"

"WHAT THE HELL."

 

"No, I don't think we should." A glimmer filled her eyes, it was undeniable. It was a glimmer of freedom. "I think we should go, but just us and the others. Screw everyone else." She said. A new found happiness filled her voice.
