First sorry! I don't know where to put this thread, I am new to forums! :(

But i have a really annoying problem!!! I have looked up many different coordinates, but their never work for me. I always find the starsystem and even the planet, but I can never find the "Thing" that should be on the planet like a village or a castle etc.

I am not playing on a server, just starbound, and I am playing the 7.1 version!!!

I really want to see a village!!! i have looked after one on about 50 planets (both alpha and gamma) already and i could only find, some mushroom villages, which i don't want to see, because i can't understand them :O

    Please help!!!

Are you using coordinates from an old version? That could be your problem.

The game has universe wipes so that coordinates from the previous versions won't be the same. Look for Enraged Koala coordinates. The 'villages' probably aren't what you are expecting, just a few houses usually. When the game is finally released their will be safe home planets for each race which sounds better than just a few houses so just explore til release mate.

What Operating System are you using? The reason I ask is while the co-ordinates are SUPPOSED to be the same no matter what O/S you're running there is apparently a bug in world-gen right now that is causing differences.

From what I've been able to make out from discussions that the devs have had it's caused by the fact that Windows, Apple, and Linux all use different Random Number Generators which have caused the Universe to have differences between O/S versions.

But if they used random numbers to generate items then everyone's item list would be different so coordinates would be useless to find items. Anyone know if items are generated randomly or from a seed value?

    Sector: Alpha
    Coordinates: 95313872, -14584362
    Planet: 23 UMa 004 II
    Biome: Desert
Try these coordinates. To the left is a chest with a Banana Hat?? And if you keep going left you should find an Avian village. This is for Enraged Koala on Windows so if you don't find anything then its all probably random.

    7.1?

That almost sounds like angry koala...>< If you were to count each update till now.

At least according to the internal thing it is labeled enraged v6.#

So I'mma little confused. Better to say the name and number rather than just the number. That way makes easier to know whether you are even using the correct version. o_O

there are threads for angry koala if that is indeed what you are on, as the recent ones are for the current update mainly, although things are not quite as precise as the older versions; since then things slightly changed here and there...
