Hi, I have port forwarded i think check this picture

But it still doesn't work, is there anymore i have to do?

And I have heard that you should turn off firewall in the router, but the firewall tab is missing in the menu for some odd reason?

Is the entered "server IP adress" the IP adress you get from "what's my ip" or is it the IP of your device on your wireless router.
It should be the latter. It'll end up being something like 192.168.1.X
There should be a "connected devices" section somewhere on your router. Find the computer you'll be hosting from on that list, and there is the IP you need to port forward to.

 

It is from when i type "ipconfig" in cmd and it's the IPv4-adress. thanks for helping.

 

I use the ip from http://www.whatismyip.com/ and it works for me. Also, when port forwarding, I put the start and end ports one port below and one port above, respectively. So in my case the start port is 21024 and the end port is 21026.

 

the configs list the end port is 27, give me a sec I'll show you.

That's when you connect. when you port forwards you port forward to your IP on the WAN, when you connect you connect via your external IP, which you find on "what's my ip"

If it's forwarded to the proper IP, and you're trying to connect through the external Ip, i don't know why it wouldn't be working.

 

I'll give you some basic's,
If you host a game on your pc make sure that your windows fire wall or any other firewall/anti virus bullshit, accepts your programme as safe so it doesn't block it ACCES to the internet because you'll be uploading data from the game to people (Duuuh)
Port forward your router by doing that you allows people to connect on that PORT to your pc to acces that data that your uploading

If everything is done you should be able to let people Into your server including you,

Yeah for firewall in the router for some reason the firewall option is not there as shown in the picture, and firewall on the computer i have it on gonna try it off now, but can i give a rule that firewall is on everything except starbound?

Yeah, that's the one you should be trying to connect to.

 

Yes, If you had windows 7 I would show you with cmd, but your using Mac... Soo Tell me What the firewall name is and I'll try to dig some thing up to help you.

When I did connect was when i used the ipv4 adress not the adress from whatsmyip.org
