Confirmed: Tiy develops first fully robotic body and performs successful organ transfer, greatly improving the longevity of humanity and ushering in a new age of prosperity, so that he can complete his indie game about space exploration.

Its a shallow game atm but it will get better further along, and much is thanks to the amazing mods (Y)

I'm more or less happily married but I'm still waiting for Sandra Bullock to come into my life and make it that much more complete. Compared to how much hopeful patience and capacity for heavy-duty self-delusion that takes, waiting around for an already good SB to get better is nothing.

People that go this far are scum. If a person feels obligated to threaten another person's life over a game they need to seriously rethink their mentality.
    Oh, how people are confusing.

    Winter is coming. In April!

And add some tar and feathering because when geeks do something, even as irrational as this, they usually keep it content-related. S

Especially after they've already given their money.

I am being as patient as possible, still happy to be beta testing, of a sort, something in my limited time on this planet. While early access gaming is trending more towards a norm nowadays, It's something a semi-jaded gamer like myself has always thought was a privilege and that's how I will feel for some time. The more time they spend on it, the more confidence they will have in a finished product. And I'm cool with that. Just so long as it's not such an amount of time spent on something that it ends up like... Too Human.

Last year, I made a 6-foot-tall snowman on April 30th. No, there aren't polar bears or penguins in my neighborhood.

    The more you know!

I can kinda understand why early access has become a thing, seeing how sometimes its the only way to get proper funding, but it is something I've become wary of. I've fallen into that trap of buying a few early access games that seem to just... go dark.

Well the difference between Starbound and Half-Life 3 is that Starbound actually exists.

The winter is coming was totally a Game of Thrones reference, but here in Minnesota, considering the harsh "global warming my ass!" winter we've had, I wouldn't be far off saying, "Winter is still here" come April.

What, you don't like the -30 below overnight temps we've been having, or that everyone was jumping for joy when a single day had a high of 5 degrees Fahrenheit? Come on, where's your sense of adventure?

Chucklefish needs to come to the Twin Cities, just to get a sense of what REAL Sector X tundra climates are like...

you think that's bad, try a korean winter. our whole post had to stop work for two days to clear off the inch and a half of ice covering everything, and the 6 inches of snow on top of that (in 2004).

Ice storms are vicious, I was on a trip in the East Coast when we had 1-2 inches of ice that formed overnight plus snow that started in the morning. I remember being slightly inconvenienced because my flight out was cancelled, and I couldn't get on another one for 3 days. All the flights were full because of "Spring Break"...

    Only in America...

In November, I set my windows weather updater to celsius, mostly because I wanted to familiarize myself with what seemingly the most of the rest of the world uses in regards to temperature reading. After a week of not even noticing the weather app, one day on one of our coldest December days, I read a very, very high number with a negative in front of it, and I just about snorted coffee into my lap. I still have it as celsius.
