Please devs, i'm on my knees begging..

So, while all of you guys and gals are having loads of fun playing the Starbound beta, i've been patiently waiting the full release, or at least until stage 3 of the beta. I'm so excited to play this game, it's no longer a joke. I just reallllly want to hold out for the full exerience, so that by the time everythings added i'll have played too much and ruined the experience. So devs, if you have any kind of loose rough estimate as to when i'll be looking at phase 3 or the full release, please let me know. Understand, that I will not hold you to it, I will not be angry when that time comes and goes, I just want an approximate window if at all possible. Thanks so much for making what's shaping up to be one of the best games of 2014. Can't wait to join in the fun!

 

Doubt they'll give an estimate, they've already said that saying "______ is going to be out by ______" has always came back and bitten them in the ass.

I'm just glad we get to play the beta.

 

The release of Starbound will be before the release of Starbound 2. Unless it isn't.

 

just play it till your sick of it then stop. try perma-death abit. when the full version comes out it will seem like a new game. or at least the same game with a whole new feel and loads of new content. you will propably have to play with a complete new style because mechanics and mobs will all be different/harder.

 

Probably this winter, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

 

Death threats? Jeez, kids these days, with their credit cards and impatience... good, don't announce them anymore. I'll just keep hoarding everything I find into laboratory lockers on my ship.

for the record, I would not be angry with missed release dates, severely disappointed yes, but angry no
I know some people who clearly dont know what ESTIMATED release dates are (im using fake dates here)
the devs said the next update would be out in 1 month, some people got angry that it wasnt out in 3 weeks
thats 3 weeks after they said one month, not a month and 3 weeks
people these days are mean and impatient (im impatient to, just can control my self)

Idk, if poor Flappy Bird guy got death threats for his free to play fun game because "nothing", then I'm sure Chucklefish would get the torch and the pitchfork for missing deadlines for hundreds of thousands of investors.

 

Beta 2012 sure proved that.

 

It's a good thing you have that extra X in there, otherwise a mod would remove your post for "adult content".

 

If you feel that way you should try it, so your hopes doesnt get crushed later on
