Application: To be honest, I am having a hard time deciding. Each I keep coming up with ideas for each faction. I will most likely go SEC or IDF... But I am not 100% Aye years. I have roleplayed in many different games and genres. A quick list is as follows: - Minecraft - World of Warcraft - Eve - Star Wars Galaxies and Star Wars the Old Republic - D&D (Table Top Version) - Gurps (Sorta like D&D but more customization) - Everquest 1 & 2 - Much More... I have always preferred large Role Playing communities over small ones. This seems to have the biggest following so far and I have read the lore and it seems very interesting. I can't wait to see where it goes. A very, very big mixture. I enjoy PvP within an RP environment because it adds realism to the server. I tend to play with more players than solo. Though just a side note: I tend to have a much more hardcore view to Role Playing server in games such as Minecraft and this one. I like limitations force people to work together and not being able to do everything and anything. I am not sure how the staff stands on this but I would like to see people limited in what they can do. (Not sure if it will be possible.) Like I said before I have been roleplaying along time. And in doing so, I have ran role playing communities, built role playing servers, written lore and other needed things for role playing, and worked as a public relations for servers, groups, and other such. Better put myself down too now I see this whitelist thread. Sorta of floating around the forums at the moment, checking from time to time since I'm primarily just waiting for the release or beta. 1. Faction you think you might be playing in SEC, IDF, RSS (you can change it later but wed like to get a rough idea of the team balancing): IDF- specifically the Aegis Squadron though I might have my character as Restoration/Maintenance division. 2.Do you have any prior roleplaying experience?: D&D, a couple of forum based roleplays. I'm not hugely experienced though but decent enough. 3.What makes you want to join this server?: Playing with other people, especially in a roleplay environment is just a really cool prospect. Ares seems like the most organised and mature roleplay group so far, so perfect for me. I dislike griefers and such. Roleplay and PvP is an interesting combination and it's always fun to play with others. Really intrigued by the lore and what kind of stories will develop. 4.What is your normal playstyle? More PVP Centered, More RP, a mix of both, do you play solo or with friends mostly?: I'm happy to lone wolf and use my own imagination but enjoy playing with others. I'm more RP centered and like PvP but don't do it all the time. 5.(Optional)Anything else you would like to add?: Life stuff depending not sure how much time I can commit to this at once but still, I'm fairly sure I can be a regular player providing my life doesn't completely explode - I'll join the steam group and forums at some point. Am a bit out of touch with Starbound lore and Ares lore (like a month or so) so not really even thought about a fleshed out character yet. Will closer to release assuming we will have some kind of character database so where can read about each others characters and stuff?. I don't really expect that till later anyway though since it's a bit too far from actually even playing the game. Um that's it I think!
A very similar list to myself. Although Starbound will be the first RP experience where I start RP and be primarily in character the whole time. Hopefully we will be able to make the community large and successful It seems like the RSS is the most popular atm ^^; Ill be hoping to initially the guide the SEC along. Profound will be guiding the RSS, and may need some IDF help. If they need any guiding at all. I just need to decide what sort of character I'm going to play! Went to forum rp for a little bit after that. Tried it on Champions online but couldn't decide on what I wanted to be. Damn Alt add 3.What makes you want to join this server?: Looks like a group of good folk, and I wouldn't mind trying to RP again and starbound has limitless potential for it. 4.What is your normal playstyle? More PVP Centered, More RP, a mix of both, do you play solo or with friends mostly?: I much prefer to rp, whether it be alone and I"m just playing out my character in the way he looks and acts in certain situations. I typically play solo only because I play so many games that I'm constantly jumping from one to the next. I'm not a fan of pvp, more-so in a rp server for a game. Reason being, a battle/fight's victor relies on the skill of the player, not the skill of the person/individual you are rping as. You could be rping as a master swordsman teacher, but because you suck at the game mechanics, you didn't get that epic gear, or your skill setup (built around an RP idea) sucks, and your student stomps you in training. 5.(Optional)Anything else you would like to add?: All in all, I wouldn't mind explore the galaxy with a group of like-minded good individuals.

Never really bothered with PvP before (usually only done to mess with friends) and I play with friends as much as I can. 5.(Optional)Anything else you would like to add?: I prefer to go by ClickCrisis (Click for short), yes that Glitch is my main character and has 1 eye, and I want to be a programmer. Yeah, but the RP was mainly lore-based, not really heavy on mechanics. Well, not the Corporations part. That was just being wacky and using the Starbound theme of random gen monsters, space, and races. Can't wait to do some Starbound stuff. I've preordered so I'll definetely be playing Starbound beta, playin' Project Ares Beta. Betaception, man.
