Perhaps people dont know what they like until it happens if someone makes a list of what people considers to be the best its quickly outdated by the next thing thats the thing about statistics they are like fads. They also keep the market stagnant.

 

Marketing culture is full of sexist, racist, and heteronormative nonsense. Don't assume that just because someone in marketing does something, it's actually representative of what people want. After all, a good deal of modern marketing is intended to try to make people think they want something they really never wanted in the first place, and don't really need.

 

I'm starting to think people who sy Starbound is doomed are the same who say Nintendo is doomed, lol

The problem about statistics is that they can be read in any way. Even while we're in this no-updates pit, Starbound is still the #26 most played game in Steam. That's quite a lot for a doomed game and a scam, you know. Probably is not doomed at all?

It's silly to think only a pretty chart can prove your point 100%. That's so high school.

 

I Say Nintendo is Doomed but I don't say Starbound Is Doomed

 

People have said "Nintendo is Doomed" since before most of the posters here were born (1988, to be exact).

 

People stop playing games after they do everything, lol.
