I'd like to be able to mouse over chests and have a name displayed on the chest. It would make it so much easier to keep track of what is stored where. Right now, it's very frustrating because it takes a lot of work to organize everything. Please make it easier. I know signs were a step in the right direction, but they take too long to make and take up too much space.
I think this is a good idea, While I at least have managed to make sure that my ores and bars are always near the smelter and anvil, things like misc. blocks, weapons and other "random" things tend to end up where they end up. It's a bit of a boring time having to scavange through everything to find what i was looking for.
Add a +1 for me - particularly on the quick stack, i'm finding it difficult to organize all stuff from the various planets and i end up with multiple duplicate stacks / not being able to find things etc etc... Having a few crates called "Glitch Stuff" i can quick stack all the things into would just save me so much time and effort.
Dunno I don't think of a time where I'm not throwing blocks and seeds out of my inventory, +1 for me. >~<
Agreed. Inventory management takes up far too much time, especially when you need to move filled chests.
+1 for autostack and PLEASE give us an autosort button to organize the bags (like in final fantasy), after exploring a couple of planets the inventory is a mess, and it takes a lot of time to order stuff.
+1 to this. There are so many items in this game and I cant help but collect them There just needs a better way to manage and organize it all.
There already is a mod for this.... Using beacons to have a dump chest and transferring everything to another beacon and all it's other chests. Don't remember the name of it though.
Yessssss! It needs to be like Terraria, where you can name chests and quick stack to stack all items from your inventory that are already in the chest.
