Closed Player Turrets attacking Player Captured Monsters

I've built a modern farm in my home planet. The farm outskirts are filled with automated turrents.

I brought Floboco with me to show him our nice farm but the turrents kept shooting towards him.

The bullets dealt no damage on him, it was like he was pulling some T-1000 moves there. But still, it was annoying to see my turrents going berserk wherever Floboco and I went.

I thought you would appreciate the feedback, because I'm certain this isn't an intentional mechanic hahah.

 

As far as i know turrets will shoot at your pets and NPCs right now. Been that way since turrets where introduced. Doubtful that it was intentional, but it is probably low on the priorities of things to fix right now. Just keep your pets and NPCs away from them until this gets changed and you should be golden.

Oh, I agree that this probably will have very low priority to be fixed. To be honest it doesn't bother me all that much either.

About the second part of your comment:

I have no mods installed.

I did use SBSE Desktop to change the hair style and color shortly after creating her, but after that I just played the game normally.
