Player ships visible when flying over same planet?

Been enjoying this game a lot, but some friends and I thought that a nice touch would be if you could see other players ships in the background when you are both orbiting the same planet.


I apologize if this is already a planned feature but yeah

 

Definatly a cool idea, had been thinking the same thing a couple of days ago

 

The idea it's cool, but you have to think about one little detail, the ship is really tiny so... being realistic we wouldn't see the ship a lot, maybe a lil dot in the sky.... the ISS is bigger than Starbound ships and you can barely see a little tiny dot moving throu the sky, but yeah I know, iiiiit's a gaaaame, so... we dont have to be so so realistic, the idea is nice, I like it.

 

This would probably make sense if they added an option to the game where you could add players to a "Fleet" and go around exploring star systems.
